Amazing Italian restaurant! The homemade pasta was outstanding – we had tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms in a creamy sauce and tortelloni with ragù and crispy parmesan. Both dishes were perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented, and full of authentic Italian flavor. The portions were just right, ingredients fresh, and everything tasted like in Italy. The staff was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere cozy. We’ll definitely come back! ????????

Decided to stop somewhere for lunch and was absolutely not disappointed. Beautiful atmosphere, beautiful people and amazing food. Felt like I was home with my family. I absolutely recommend. It was so amazing me and my group couldn’t stop talking about it all day!!
Wife and I stopped in for lunch. She had pappa al pomodoro. I had cipollata, a sort of country Italian onion soup. Both were fantastic. Best bread we've had anywhere in the last month. Plus bottle of Tuscan red wine, and finally, dessert: cantucci con crema (yum!) + vin santo. Everything wonderful. One of the most pleasant and enjoyable meals we've had anywhere in Italy. A reminder that, while excellent food is of course a requirement for an excellent meal, a truly excellent dining experience requires more. This little restaurant had it all. In a tiny package. We are here in Siena for a couple days and we will be going back. ADDED 2 DAYS LATER: We DID go back, for dinner. Last time we met Enzo; tonight we met Sonia (and Francesca, the wonderful cook). I had osso bucco, my wife had polpette. Both were excellent. Our new favorite restaurant in Italy. We'll be sad to leave Siena tomorrow in part because we can't return here any time soon.
We ate dinner on a Thursday evening around 8pm in October before the Italian Opera in Siena performances. What a lovely space to dine with Enzo and Sonia taking such good care of us and all their guests. Delicious.

The best restaurant in Siena. The owner and her wife are amazing and make perfect domestic atmosphere. Try their Ravioli di ricotta e tartufi and domestic red wine.
Quite simply the best supper on this trip! The pasta with fresh porcini and lavish shavings of black truffle was divine. With a glass of Chianti it was a perfect supper - with room afterwards for a delicious italian equivalent of a very light bread-and-butter pudding made with panforte and vin santo. I highly recommend this restaurant. Enzo and Sonia who run the place are charming, idosyncratic and delightful hosts. Don't be fooled by the long menu - everything is freshly cooked - but with only a few tables the service is swift. It is small - only 16 covers - and by 8pm was full. So if you don't want to miss this wonderful little restaurant when you are in Siena, it may be a good idea to book.
This restaurant was a hidden gem in Siena! My wife and I ate lunch here and it was among the best food we’ve had during the past week traveling Italy. I had the carbonara pappardelle with porcini mushrooms and my wife ate ravioli with a mushroom cream sauce and shaved truffles. House red wine was excellent, bread was excellent. Highly recommend! I see from other reviews that they fill up for dinner but when we went for lunch they were nearly empty, something to consider if you want to try and avoid the crowd. Also no English translations on menu, just another FYI. Use translate app or ask they will point you to something good!
